In light of increasing uncertainty associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Hawai’i has extended the deadline for applications to August 1.

The original deadline for applications was June 1. Students now have two extra months to apply.

This deadline extension gives prospective students additional time to consider applying to the UH Mānoa, UH Hilo or UH West O’ahu campuses.

Students interested in applying are still encouraged to apply as early as possible, especially if they are interested in financial aid.

The announcement was made on March 25 at a news conference by Governor David Ige.

“For parents and students who are now thinking about staying home for college, you canʻt beat the opportunities across the University of Hawaiʻi System,” UH President David Lassner said.
