In compliance with Gov. David Ige’s stay-at-home extension period for the state of Hawaiʻi, the University of Hawaiʻi has extended its social distancing period through May 31. All learning, teaching and working from home will be encouraged throughout this time.
UH employees can submit a COVID work-from-home request for the month of May starting April 29 in the online leave system, according to an email sent out to UH students, faculty and staff.
More information will be provided in the weeks to come.
“Mahalo for your continued support of each other and our state. We are in this together and we will come out of this together—better, stronger and wiser,” UH President David Lassner said in an email.
