Over the next couple of days, the state will be greeted with a high pressure system. This will force a series of complex frontal systems to miss the islands, resulting in mostly sunny weather throughout the week. But as the high pressure system gets closer and closer to the islands, the wind speed will slowly change from being barely noticeable on Monday to a maximum of 25 mph on Friday.

Wednesday – Mostly Sunny. High in the mid to upper 80s and Low in the low 70s with Northeast winds ranging from 10-15 mph. 10 to 20 percent chance of precipitation.

Thursday – Mostly Sunny. High in the mid to upper 80s and Low in the low 70s with Northeast winds ranging from 15-20 mph. 10 to 20 percent chance of precipitation.

Friday – Mostly Sunny. High in the the mid to upper 80s and Low in the low 70s with Northeast winds ranging from 20-25 mph. 20 to 30 percent chance of precipitation.
