The islands will be greeted with a high pressure system this week, which will force a series of complex frontal systems to miss the islands, resulting in mostly sunny weather throughout the week. But there will be short bursts of scattered showers throughout the week, which are a result of northeastern winds being forced upwards by O‘ahu's mountains. Pinpointing a particular day when we can expect showers is difficult to, as the forecast models tend to disagree with each other as time progresses.
