The University of Hawai'i football team finished its 2019 spring practice schedule on Saturday evening with its annual spring football game. This was the first time that the spring scrimmage featured a four-quarter game.

Offensive coordinator Brian Smith led Team Mauka (first-team offense, second-team defense) and defensive coordinator Corey Batoon led Team Makai (first-team defense, second-team offense).

Former UH offensive lineman and current Spectrum Sports commentator RJ Hollis served as emcee of the event.

Team Mauka won 11.1 million to 9.2 million over Team Makai, with junior quarterback Cole McDonald throwing two touchdown passes to senior wide receiver Jason-Matthew Sharsh, as well as a pair of 2-point conversions to senior wide receiver Cedric Byrd II

The 'Bows will now wait until July to begin to prepare for the 2019 season. UH's first home game of the 2019 season will be against Arizona at the Aloha Stadium on Aug. 24.
