Brandon Rattray

Sophomore outside hitter Brandon Rattray puts down a kill in front of Chris Woolslayer in the second set. Rattray tallied eight kills, four aces and two blocks against Lees-McRae.

University of Hawaiʻi men's volleyball opposite Brandon Rattray will transfer to UCLA for next season.

Rattray confirmed that he will transfer, according to his social media.

"I've met so many amazing people in Hawaiʻi, and a big thanks to everyone for the support on my journey and making these past 3 years in Hawaiʻi the best years of my life," Rattray said in an Instagram post.

Last season, Rattray appeared in 12 matches with one start at opposite. The redshirt sophomore averaged 2.00 kills, 0.80 digs and 0.55 blocks per set. As a freshman, he appeared in five matches and was primarily used as a serving specialist.

Rattray will join outsider hitter Austin Matautia, who announced in June that he will transfer to UCLA as well.
