Five members of the University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team received All-American honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Tuesday.

Opposite Radio Parapunov and libero Gage Worsley received first-team honors, both repeating from last season.

Assistant coach Milan Zarkovic received the Assistant Coach of the Year, giving the ‘Bows their second recipient in a row with assistant coach Josh Walker receiving the award in 2019.

Middle blocker Patrick Gasman and outside hitter Colton Cowell were both named to the second-team, this being Gasman’s second year in a row.

For both Parapunov and Gasman, this marks their third year being named to the All-American teams, as both were named honorable mentions in 2018. Along with that, Parapunov and Worsley become the seventh and eight Rainbow Warrior to be named to multiple first-team All-American teams.

Zarkovic becomes the second Rainbow Warrior assistant coach to receive the award after Walker’s reception just last year.

This all comes after Parapunov was named Big West Conference Player of the Year earlier this month, also receiving first-team honors with teammates Worsley, Gasman, and Cowell.
