Hawai'i extended its win streak to four matches and 12 sets with a sweep of Harvard on day two of the Raising Cane's Rainbow Warrior Classic on Friday night at the Stan Sheriff Center. Set scores were 25-17, 25-18 and 25-17.
In set one, Harvard (1-1) had an early 4-1, but the 'Bows battled back with kills from Colton Cowell and Rado Parapunov to take the lead. Both Cowell and Parapunov combined for 11 kills in the set.
The 'Bows started set two with a 6-1 lead and continued from there. UH eventually completed its sweep and remains undefeated to start 2020.
Cowell led the 'Bows with 13 kills while Parapunov added 12. Setter Jakob Thelle made a match-high 28 assists for the 'Bows.
Tomorrow Hawai'i will compete for its third Rainbow Warrior Classic title with a match against Grand Canyon (1-1) at 7 p.m.
