Several Warrior and Wahine tennis players were given end of the year conference honors.

Junior Felix Albert was named to the Big West All-Conference first team. He was previously named as an honorable mention last season.

Sophomore Igor Kolaric was named to the second team.

Senior Marcel Chan was also named to the second team after his 3-4 doubles record on the first court with partner Felix Albert.

Wahine tennis swept the Big West honors for the women’s teams.

Head coach Jun Hernandez was named Coach of the Year after leading Hawai‘i to there undefeated 8-0 season.

Freshman Petra Melounova was named Freshman and Player of the Year, only the third player in conference history to do so. 

Melanouva and teammates senior Cindy Nguyen and junior Marina Hruba were all named to the Big West All-Conference first team in singles competition.

Melanouva and her doubles partner sophomore Roxanne Resma were named to the doubles first team, after an 11-3 overall and an undefeated 5-0 conference season. 

Nguyen and her partner junior Klara Pribylova were named to the doubles second team, after achieving a 13-6 overall record.
