The University of Hawai‘i menʻs volleyball team is ranked No. 1 in this weekʻs AVCA Division I-II Coaches Top 15 Poll for the first time since 2015.

UH's three wins in last week's BYU Invitational, combined with No. 11 USC upsetting previously No. 1 Long Beach State, allowed the ʻBows (20-0) to move one spot for their first No. 1 ranking since April 13, 2015.

UH was ranked No. 1 for five consecutive weeks that season.

This week's ranking marks the program's 30th all-time appearance as the nation's top team.

The ʻBows extended their win streak to 20 last Saturday with its first-ever sweep over BYU in Provo, Utah. Hawai'i also had straight-set wins over McKendree and Princeton to extend its NCAA-record set win streak to 60.

UH, which is also No. 1 in the NCAA RPI for the second straight week, will have a non-conference match at Concordia-Irvine on March 26 and a two-match Big West Conference series with UC San Diego on March 29 and 30.
