The No. 4 flight of junior Ari Homayun and sophomore Amy Ozee are riding a hot 12-match win streak.

The University of Hawai'i beach volleyball team returns home to host the Queen's Cup from April 7 to 8 in Waikīkī. Teams that will compete in the two-day tournament at Queen's Beach are No. 16 Loyola Marymount (13-9), Utah (0-0), and Washington (6-6).

UH (23-3) is coming off of a two-week road trip where they set a school-record 18-match win streak at the Gamecock Challenge in Columbia, South Carolina, and Sacramento, California. During the trip, the Rainbow Wahine defeated three top 10 teams: No. 8 South Carolina, No. 6 Cal Poly and No. 5 Long Beach State. This week, the SandBows remained at No. 3 in the latest DiG Magazine Collegiate Beach Volleyball Poll.

UH defeated Loyola Marymount earlier this year, 3-2, on March 8 at UCLA. The 'Bows also defeated Pac-12 opponent Utah, 5-0 in the team's first and only meeting last year during the Outrigger Hawai'i Invitational. This will be UH and Washington's first matchup on the sand.

Last year, the SandBows claimed the Queen's Cup title, with seniors Ka‘iwi Schucht honored as the Most Outstanding Player and Emily Maglio as the Best Blocker. Schucht and Maglio are now the team's top pair, having won 14 straight matches, tied for a school record.

Sophomore Morgan Martin and freshman Lea Monkhouse won 16 of their last 17 matches, which led them being the Big West pairs team of the week in three of the last four weeks. The No. 4 flight of junior Ari Homayun and sophomore Amy Ozee  currently have a 12-match win streak.

First serve for the SandBows will be versus Utah on Saturday, April 7 at 9 a.m.
