The Rainbow Warrior football team is seeking their first 3-0 start since 2007.

The University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warrior football team (2-0, 1-0 Mountain West Conference) continues its homestand this weekend as they host Rice (1-1) today at 6 p.m. at Aloha Stadium. 

This is the first meeting between the two teams since 2014 in Houston, where Rice won 28-14. 

UHM Student Shuttle

There is free bus transportation to UHM students with a validated student ID. Buses will depart at 3:30 p.m. from Lower Campus on Kalele Road near the 

football and soccer practice fields. A valid UHM student ID is also required to enter Aloha Stadium and to sit in the student section. Students can enter the stadium through Gate 1. After the game, buses will drop off students back to campus near Frear Hall by the intersection of Dole Street and East-West Road. 

Stadium traffic and parking

Parking Gate 1 (Main Salt Lake) – ADA, Bus Lot and Sections 1-7 only (passes only); Use Kamehameha Highway or Salt Lake Blvd.

Parking Gate 2 (North Kamehameha) – Parking Sections 8-14 only (passes only); Use Kamehameha Highway.

Public parking entrance through Parking Gate 3 (Halawa) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only (public parking); Use Kahuapaani St. only.

Public parking entrance through Parking Gate 4 (Lower Salt Lake) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only (public parking); Use Kahuapaani St. only.

Entrance through Business Access Gate – Upper Halawa Reserved (passes only); Use Salt Lake Blvd. or Kahuapaani St.

The ADA stalls will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Alternate parking is also available at Radford High School and Leeward Community College. Please note opening and closing times:

Leeward Community College (3:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is free. Cost is $2 per person (roundtrip) for shuttle service (3:30 p.m. – 1 hour after the game).

Radford High School (2:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5. No shuttle service available.  

Turnstile Gates: 1 – 8 will open to the public starting at 4:30 p.m. There will be no re-entry allowed. 

New Aloha Stadium Bag Policy

Each person is allowed one bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” in size. In addition, each person will be allowed to hand-carry a blanket, poncho or jacket and a seat cushion. 

No outside food and beverages are allowed.
