Hawaiʻi beach volleyball splits opening games of 2023

The 10th-ranked University of Hawaiʻi beach volleyball team beat Saint Mary's (CA) 5-0 to begin the 2023 season Thursday at Queen's Beach before losing 3-2 to No. 9 Stanford in its second match of the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic.

The BeachBows will play Stephen F. Austin at 9 a.m. and No. 1 UCLA at 12:45 p.m. tomorrow at Queen's.
